A province-wide code
506 is associated with New Brunswick and is shared across its communities. The 428 overlay adds numbers in the same province-wide numbering area. A 506 prefix does not distinguish Moncton, Saint John, Fredericton or a smaller community, so read the supplier city information before treating a number as locally specific.
Plan for English and French callers
New Brunswick businesses may communicate a number in both languages. Test any vanity wording with the people who will actually answer or dial the telephone. A repeated numeric ending can be a useful alternative when the business uses different English and French names. If your business serves the full province, choose for clarity across those audiences; if you serve one city, check the exchange association as well. Compare the full number on a printed card and when spoken aloud, because familiar area-code recognition cannot resolve a hard-to-hear sequence.
Check the exact number before committing
Use the search link to compare current supplier listings. Prices shown on FancyNumber.ca are one-time USD customer prices; taxes, activation and ongoing telephone service may be additional. Saving a number creates a shortlist on this device and does not reserve it or lock its price. Ask your intended provider to check the exact number’s rate center, porting eligibility and service requirements. An area code does not establish a physical business address or guarantee local call pricing.
Availability may change. Online ordering and payments are not available on FancyNumber.ca yet. This guide describes numbering geography, not a guarantee that a particular combination is in stock.
